Decadent Turtle Cookie Bars with Caramel, Chocolate, and Pecans

Ingredients:

1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
½ cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup caramel sauce

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
In a large bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
Spread the dough evenly in the prepared baking dish.
Sprinkle the chocolate chips and chopped pecans over the dough.
Drizzle the caramel sauce evenly over the top.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
Let the bars cool completely in the pan before slicing and serving.
